MAKE RISD YOURS THIS SUMMER
Summer is the perfect time to come to Rhode Island School of Design to explore new avenues of personal and professional artistic development, or to reach a new level within a current direction. Summer program offerings for postsecondary students (including high school graduates) are all designed to provide access to RISD's unique critical thinking/critical making curricular approach, as well as to our historic campus and renowned studios.

Programs being offered in summer 2012:

RISD Summer Studies
Tap into a rich variety of six-week art + design courses.
Most courses begin the week of June 25

Summer Institute for Graphic Design Studies (SIGDS)
Delve into a broad range of graphic design topics, in two-week intensive courses.
Two courses to choose from in each of three sessions: June 25-July 6, July 9-20, and July 23-August 3

Textiles Summer Institute
Experience RISD's renowned textiles studios and faculty firsthand, in six-week courses or three-week intensives.
Six-week courses begin the week of June 25
Three-week intensives are offered in two sessions: June 25-July 13, and July 16-August 3
